About the fair

Tashkent International Tourism Fair (TITF) “Tourism on the Silk Road” – is a significant event of the tourism industry of Uzbekistan and the entire Central Asian region.

TITF has been held since 1995 with the official support of the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

TITF today is a global platform for meetings of tourism professionals. Presentations of tourism opportunities of dozens of countries, business negotiations of hundreds of tourism industry professionals, international conferences on topical issues of international tourism development are being hold here.

Last year, TITF-2024, organized by the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Tourism Committee, as well as the National PR Center and the “Team & Co Group” company, brought together tourism industry experts from around the world. The event proved highly beneficial for various stakeholders in the field: representatives of the business community, employees of leading tourism companies, major hotel chains, diplomatic corps, tourism educational institutions, insurance companies, as well as representatives of MICE tourism.

The event was held for the first time at the International Exhibition Center CAEx (Central Asian Expo Uzbekistan) and became an important event for the tourism industry of Uzbekistan and Central Asia. The fair played a significant role in promoting Uzbekistan as an attractive tourist destination, providing a platform for establishing new business contacts between local and foreign companies. The presentation of unique tourist routes and regional attractions generated increased interest in various parts of the country, opening up new prospects for expanding cooperation and attracting tourists. The large-scale event also attracted the attention of more than 100 influential media outlets, which contributed to a significant increase in the recognition of Uzbekistan in the international arena.

The exhibition was attended by tourism administrations and private companies from 19 countries, including Uzbekistan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Russia, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Thailand, the Czech Republic, Indonesia and others. There were 54 national stands, and more than 30 local and 7 foreign tourism companies were invited under the Hosted Buyers program. Over the course of three days, the fair was visited by more than 20,000 people who got acquainted with the tourism opportunities of 14 regions of the country. During the event, more than 20,000 B2B meetings took place, at which over 8,000 agreements were signed.
