The results of the tender for the organization and delivery on an outsourcing basis of the Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” (TITF 2026) have been officially announced.

As previously communicated, the contest was launched on April 2, 2026, inviting qualified organizations to deliver the event on an outsourcing basis. The application period remained open until April 8, attracting proposals from companies with proven international expertise in staging large-scale exhibitions, festivals, and global events.

On April 10, a dedicated working group convened at the State Institution “National PR Center” under the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan to evaluate the submissions. Each proposal was carefully reviewed, with particular attention given to organizational strategy, international event-holding experience, and marketing capabilities.

Among the members, “Iteca Exhibitions” LLC stood out for its comprehensive and fully compliant proposal. The company presented a well-structured concept for the fair, supported by a robust organizational framework, a clearly defined promotional strategy, and a complete set of marketing materials.

Following a thorough evaluation process, “Iteca Exhibitions” LLC has been officially selected as the winner of the tender.

The Tashkent International Tourism Fair, “Tourism on the Silk Road,” has been held since 1995 with the official support of the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). It operates in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 5, 2019, to fulfill the government’s key objectives: creating an attractive tourism image for the country, attracting a flow of foreign tourists, and increasing the competitiveness of the national tourism product on the international market among both industry professionals and ordinary travelers.

This year, TITF-2026 will take place from November 25 to 27, 2026, at the CAEx exhibition complex in Tashkent.

The terms of the competition stipulate the following services to be provided by the contestants:

1) The services for organizing, holding, sourcing, and attracting participants for the Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” must be carried out in accordance with the provisions provided by the TITF Organizers.

The 30th Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” has completed its work

On November 29, 2025, the 30th anniversary edition of the Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” (TITF-2025) concluded at the international exhibition center CAEx. The fair was organized by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the SI “National PR-Centre”, and the SUE “Interforum”.

The fair made a significant contribution to promoting Uzbekistan as a vibrant and promising tourist destination, becoming a key platform for establishing new partnerships between domestic and international companies. Exclusive tourism routes and the rich cultural heritage of various regions showcased at the event enhanced interest in different parts of the country, opening up new opportunities for cooperation and growth in tourist flows. Furthermore, the fair received extensive international media coverage, with more than 100 reputable local and foreign media outlets reporting on the event, substantially contributing to raising Uzbekistan’s global profile.

Over the course of three days, more than 100 representatives from the domestic and international tourism industry participated across 44 exhibition stands. Additionally, numerous B2B meetings were held, resulting in thousands of negotiations and the signing of multiple agreements. Notably, this year the People’s Republic of China participated for the first time with its national pavilion. The Republic of Azerbaijan also participated as a partner country, adding special significance to the event and expanding the scope of international cooperation.

The “Hosted Buyers” program featured 10 foreign and over 30 local tourism companies, with thousands of negotiations and agreements concluded during the fair.

The event was attended by more than 15,000 visitors, representing 72 countries. Delegations from France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands were particularly notable.

In addition, the fair featured thematic panel sessions, masterclasses, the International Aviation Forum “Uzairo,” the international culinary championship “Delicious Uzbekistan,” which brought together over 200 chefs from more than 30 countries, an exhibition of handicrafts, a forum on tourism education, the “Global Tourism Media Campus,” the Ethno-Cultural Festival, the first Central Asia–European Union Tourism Forum, and the OIC Tourism Forum, held under the chairmanship of the Conference of Tourism Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

At the closing ceremony, the launch of the 31st Tashkent International Tourism Fair next year was announced, along with awards for active participants.

Tashkent became the center of international tourism at the 29th Silk Road Tourism Fair

On November 23, 2024, the three-day 29th Tashkent International Tourism Fair “Tourism on the Silk Road” (TITF-2024), organized by the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change of the Republic of Uzbekistan,, the Tourism Committee, the SUE “National PR- centre” and company “Team & Co Group” ended in Tashkent.

The event was held for the first time at the International Exhibition Center CAEx (Central Asian Expo Uzbekistan) and became an important event for the tourism industry of Uzbekistan and Central Asia. The fair played a significant role in promoting Uzbekistan as an attractive tourist destination, providing a platform for establishing new business contacts between local and foreign companies. The presentation of unique tourist routes and regional attractions generated increased interest in various parts of the country, opening up new prospects for expanding cooperation and attracting tourists. The large-scale event also attracted the attention of more than 100 influential media outlets, which contributed to a significant increase in the recognition of Uzbekistan in the international arena.
