In the article, special attention is given to Samarkand, Bukhara and Khiva – ancient cities that for centuries served as important centers of international trade, cultural exchange and interaction among different civilizations.

The authors of the article note the architectural and historical richness of the country, highlighting among the most iconic sights the Tash-Khauli Palace in Khiva, the Kalyan Mosque in Bukhara, Registan Square and the Bibi-Khanym Mosque in Samarkand.
