Tourism boom: where did Uzbeks travel in four months of 2026

The most popular country among Uzbek citizens was the Kyrgyz Republic, with 899,004 people traveling there. Tajikistan is in second place (388,452), Kazakhstan is in third (354,859).

Among non-neighboring countries, Saudi Arabia leads the way with 138,113 trips (mostly Umrah). Next are Russia (115,094), Türkiye (70,340), UAE (31,073), China (23,557).

Interest in the countries of Asia and Africa is also growing: Thailand was visited by 16,291 people, Egypt - 15,823.

Experts attribute the growth to an increase in the number of flights, simplification of visa formalities and the development of tourism infrastructure. Travel to neighboring countries has become especially intensified due to the expansion of transport links.
