Tour operators of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Belarus will expand cooperation

Representatives of the tourism industries of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Belarus discussed expanding direct business contacts and creating joint tourism products. The meeting took place on September 22 in Dushanbe with the participation of representatives of relevant government agencies and tour operators from the three countries. This was reported by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The participants included a delegation from the Tourism Committee of Uzbekistan, representatives of the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of Tajikistan, the State Institution «National Tourism Agency» of Belarus, and tour operators.

During the meeting, the Uzbek side presented information on the reforms being carried out in the tourism sector, the development of tourism infrastructure, the creation of new tourism products, and measures of state support for entrepreneurs in the industry, including subsidies provided.

The main focus was on expanding cooperation between tour operators of the three countries. The parties considered the possibility of developing joint tourism products and promoting them in the markets of third countries.

Separately, the integration of tourism routes of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan into tour packages involving Belarus was discussed. Potential joint offers may cover cultural and educational, ecological, gastronomic, medical, and pilgrimage tourism.

The participants also exchanged views on the further development of practical cooperation. Among the proposed formats are mutual familiarization tours and presentations, holding B2B meetings, and joint participation in international tourism exhibitions.

Representatives of Uzbekistan invited tourism companies from Tajikistan and Belarus to take part in the 31st Tashkent International Tourism Fair «Tourism on the Silk Road» (TITF–2026). The event will take place on November 25–27 in Tashkent. An investment forum will also be held as part of the fair.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue regular dialogue between representatives of the private sector, jointly develop new initiatives, and ensure their practical implementation.
