讨论吸引阿联酋大型酒店运营商进入乌兹别克斯坦旅游市场的前景

At the initiative of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Abu Dhabi, an online meeting was held between the Committee for Tourism of our country and the Ministry of Economy and Tourism of the UAE, reports a correspondent of Dunyo news agency.

It was attended by the Director of the Department of Tourism Development of the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism, Muhammad Al Ahbabi.

During the dialogue, the Emirati side was provided with detailed information about the work being carried out in Uzbekistan to consistently develop the tourism sector, improve the quality of services, implement modern infrastructure projects, introduce international standards and attract foreign investment in the field.

The parties reached an agreement on cooperation in the development of tourism infrastructure in Uzbekistan, including the involvement of leading UAE companies - Ronga, Jumeirah Group, Emaar Hospitality Group, JA Resorts & Hotels, Five Hotels & Resorts, Habtahan Hospitality and Aldar - in projects for the construction and management of hotels.

Issues of preparation for the signing of a memorandum of cooperation within the framework of the international exhibition “Arabian Travel Market Dubai - 2026”, which will be held in Dubai from September 14 to 17, were also discussed.

Following the meeting, the Emirati side expressed its readiness to assist in the participation of UAE travel companies in the 31st International Exhibition “Tourism on the Silk Road - TITF 2026”, which will be held in Tashkent on November 25-27 this year.
